What is Dot & Pin?

Dot & Pin is a personalized recommendation engine with a messaging­powered online travel concierge who takes care of last–mile needs catered for short or long­term business travel.

Based on smart personalization, Dot & Pin curates content from high­influencer travel or lifestyle bloggers, matching results based on user preferences instead of showing what is nearby or ranked out of popularity. Our virtual human travel concierge is an expert local resource for various needs. For example, wine/dine, transportation, on­demand meeting venues, golf tee time, outdoor activities, private jet and many others.

How does the smart personalization work?

When you sign up for Dot and Pin, you will be asked a series of 5 questions to determine your profile. We then match specific activities and venues based on your profile type. In this way, you do not have to filter through a large series of activities to find what you like. You can also change this profile and the answers to your questionnaire at any time.

Who curates the content?

We work with high­ influencer bloggers who are local insiders in the city that they are located in. By doing so, we are able to keep abreast on the latest happenings and hidden gems in their city. If you want to join our blogger network, send us an ​email​.  We would love to hear from you.

Which cities do the Dot & Pin Concierge operate in?

We are live in San Francisco, New YorkLos Angeles, and Chicago. We are always adding more attractions in the cities we already cover. If you want us to add a particular city, ​ let us know.

Who is my travel Concierge? What can they do for me?

Once you log­in to our messaging platform, you are matched with an available human Concierge. Our virtual human travel concierge is an expert local resource. They can make suggestions catered to your preferences and reservations for wine/dine, transportation, on­demand meeting venues, golf tee time, outdoor activities, private jet, and many others.

How do I change my preferences after registration?

You can change preferences by clicking on the Preferences link on the far right of the top navigation bar under your name once you log in.

Can I share attractions to friends and family?

Certainly. You can share activities via Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, or email. Alternatively once you’ve added it to your calendar, you can invite them by adding their email.
